Kids on the Yard invites In-Home tutors. Your primary role is to build lasting family relationships and support your student’s academic needs and goals.
You’ll meet with your students regularly for 1:1 sessions and provide parents with responsive, honest communication and feedback on their child’s progress. To ensure you’ll be the most effective tutor, you’ll always be looking for new strategies, resources, and tools to use that will help your students progress and achieve their very best.

Private tutoring is not always effective in raising academic achievement, and in some schools, students commonly skip classes or sleep through lessons because they are tired after excessive external study.
This means that the shadow system can make regular schooling less efficient.
Teachers who spend more time focusing on private lessons than regular classes can cause greater inefficiencies in the mainstream school system. Situations, where teachers provide extra private lessons for pupils for whom they are already responsible in the public system can lead to corruption.

Our Hiring Process
ALL our Teacher/Tutors
are
Part-Time/Full-Time Hourly employee in our company.
- Proof of degrees
- Letter of recommendation
- At least one references (Prefered 3)
- Portfolio Image of yourself.
- Updated Resume or Curriculum Vitae (CV).
- You Authorized to work in the USA – We are not sponsoring any visa.
- You agree to a full background check.
- You agree to full validation of your educational documents.
- You have your availability days in-hand (required for the next step).
- You have your availability hours in-hand (required for the next step).
- You know what Grades/Subjects you are applying for.
- All documents as asked can be uploaded during the process.
We will not consider any applicants that does not meet the requirements
Once you complete the process of submitting the application, you will notify by email.
It takes between one (1) to seven (7) business days to review your applications due to COVID-19; the process may be delayed up to 15 working days (We use 3rd Party to assist with verifications and/or background check) depending on state/counties/cities.
If our team clears your applications here, the following three (3) steps are:
- One or more ZOOM interviews with one of our educators.
- In some cases, a demo session will be required.
- The pre-boarding process, meeting with at least one opportunity, completing background checks, and verifying your documents.
